We provide continuing education courses in the United States and overseas. These courses are taught by Dr.Lewis on topics like Vision Therapy, Myopia, Strabismus and Amblyopia, and Brain Injury. The clinical curriculum courses and the Regional Clinical Seminars are offered through the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEP or OEPF).  Dr. Lewis has also recently accepted the position as President of OEP and we are very proud of him!

Optometrists visit us from countries such as Belgium and Canada to learn more about vision therapy and developmental optometry. Visiting optometrists are always welcome and have the opportunity to work with our doctors, vision therapists, and patients.

A little about the Optometric Extension Program (OEP)

OEP was established in 1928 and has been providing post-graduate continuing education since that time. It offers more continuing education hours annually than any other optometric organization of its kind. OEP's education efforts go beyond the classroom and seminar room. It also has a long history of producing and publishing valuable informational materials for optometrists, vision therapists, and other staff.

The most recent endeavor includes the new journal, Optometry& Visual Performance, (OVP) which is jointly produced with the colleagues from the Australasian College of Behavioral Optometrists (ACBO).
